Telehandler / Zoom Boom
This course provides students a basic understanding of telehandler operation, maintenance, and load handling. It will also cover relevant federal and provincial legislative requirements applicable to the workplace:

Safety awareness: pinch points, pedestrian awareness, mounting and dismounting, weather conditions and emergency exit procedures

Components: telescopic boom, ROPS and FOPS, switches, levers, boom, outrigger controls and steering options

Pre-use inspection: wheels and tires, lighting, mirrors and wipers, engine compartment and function test

Operation: stability, use of boom and outriggers, capacity charts, frame leveling, load shifts, overhead power
lines, start up and shut down procedures
Customized training and flexible dates can be arranged for industry clients.

There are no pre-requisites to take the Telehandler course.
