CPR

Comprehensive CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, entrance to the nursing program, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. The course covers a basic scene management, cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, and AED certification.

Covers skills needed to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking for people aged 8 and over

Level C

Professional Rescuers (police, firefighters); First Responders; Workplace First Aid Teams; Lifeguards


Covers CPR skills needed for adults, children and infants as well as two-rescuer adult CPR

Level HCP-C (Healthcare Provider C)

Healthcare Professionals: physicians, nurses, paramedics, dental workers, and allied healthcare providers (RT, OT, PT)


Covers all CPR levels, two-rescuer adult, child and infant CPR, pulse checks, rescue breathing, and use of a bag-valve-mask system

 

Child Care First Aid and CPR

Comprehensive First Aid and CPR training for individuals who need training for child care or early childhood education work, or who simply want more knowledge to respond to babies' and children's injuries and emergencies at home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic first aid such as cardiovascular emergencies, CPR, choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission, to more in-depth topics such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine.

  • 3-year certification in Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR
  • Includes training on the AED (Automated External Defibrillator)

The course covers skills needed to recognize, prevent and respond to cardiovascular emergencies for Adults, CPR Level A, and other topics such as choking, airway and breathing emergencies, and prevention of disease transmission.

Recertifications

If your certificate has not expired, you may take a one-day recertification course. You will be updated on new protocols, have a skills assessment exam, and complete a written exam.

  • 3-year certification in Standard First Aid & CPR

  • Student must present a valid certificate to the instructor

Standard First Aid

Comprehensive First Aid and CPR techniques for those who need training for work requirements, or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies in the workplace or home. The course covers a variety of topics from basic (such as cardiovascular and breathing emergencies, CPR Level A, prevention of disease transmission) to in-depth topics, such as sudden medical conditions and injuries to the head and spine. Level C certification (adults, children and infants) is also available, as is Standard First Aid with an HCP designation.

Blended Delivery First Aid Option

Save in-class training time with the Blended Delivery Option. This option allows you to complete the theory portion of the course at home and online; then, you come in for a one-day session for review of the material, the knowledge exam, and skills testing. The on-line portion must be completed in advance and the certificate of completion shown at the time of the in-class session.
